Jubilee Sailing Trust
The Jubilee Sailing Trust is a unique charity in that it owns two specially designed tall ships; the Lord Nelson and Tenacious, both are barques. The ships are purpose-built to enable physically disabled and able-bodied people to work and live alongside one another on board. The ships have special facilities on board, from speaking compasses to vibrating pads in the bunks, and flat wide decks and lifts to enable wheelchairs to get around easily. Our ships spend the winter months island-hopping in the Canaries and Caribbean and then back to the UK in the spring for voyages around the UK and Northern Europe.
