Life changing adventures

"The experience was amazing!  I loved it so much and got to know the characters of people I work with.  I learned how to crew a boat and that I loved it so much that I want to go again". Gemma from Essex.

DSP aims to offer to everybody, regardless of age, ability, background or status, the experience, challenge and adventure that Sail Training provides.  We aim to promote the development of people and enable them to achieve their full potential.  We also aim to encourage individuals or groups of people, who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience Sail Training, through the awarding of bursaries.

We participate in National and International Sail Training events with the aim of building and fostering international and inter-cultural understanding between young people.  On board you will be involved in all aspects of sailing the boat, learning valuable skills for life.  At Discovery, everyone is welcome.  We also bring the sailing experience to people with hearing and visual impairment.
