Life changing adventures

"It was a truly emotional experience which I will never forget.  I gained experience and accomplished tasks that I never thought I would be capable of … it was truly the best thing I have ever accomplished so far in my life and I am very very proud of what I achieved on this remarkable voyage"  - Khalid from West Midlands

The Jubilee Sailing Trust is unique in that it owns two specially designed tall ships.  The ships are puprpose-built to enable disabled and able-bodied people to live and work aboard.  They have special facilities from speaking compasses to specially designed lifts and decks to enable wheelchair access.  There are two elements to the JST's mission:  one is to overcome prejudices and misconceptions about disability among able-bodied people, and the second, to enable people with a disability to achieve their own personal goals in an environment that is designed to be inclusive.
