The Jubilee Sailing Trust is unique in that it owns two specially designed tall ships.  The ships are purpose-built to enable disabled and able-bodied people to live and work aboard.  They have special facilities from speaking compasses to specially designed lifts and decks to enable wheelchair access.  There are two elements to the JST's mission; one is to overcome prejudices and misconceptions about disability among able-bodied people, and the second, to enable people with a disability to achieve their own personal goals in an environment that is designed to be inclusive.
